The WB Police is inviting applications for recruitment of Lady Constables for 2013.
Post: Lady Constable in West Bengal Police
Pay scale and benefits : pay scale of Rs. 5,400-25,200/- (i.e. Pay Band-2) with Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-, plus other admissible allowances.
No. of openings:- 2,940 nos
Application fee: Rs 150/-
Last date to apply : 23/05/2013 (May 23, 2013)
Eligibility:-
Candidate should be citizen of India.
Age:- The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years of age as on 01.01.2013
Qualification:- The candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination from any Board recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.

INSTRUCTIONS:-
A) Carefully read the advertisement to ascertain your eligibility.
B) Visit the office of the Superintendent of Police or the office of the Commissioner’s of Police (except Kolkata) on all working day between 10 AM and 05:30 PM from 22/04/2013 to 22/05/2013 with Bank Draft (Payable at Kolkata) / Crossed Postal Order (payable at GPO, Kolkata) in favour of “West Bengal Police Recruitment Board” of Rs.150/- or Caste Certificate (for the candidates from Schedule Tribe / Scheduled Caste Community of West Bengal only) or Identity Card issued by the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal in case of Exempted Category candidate to obtain the Application Form.
C) Fill in the form completely and sign the same.
D) Attach the documents as per the list mentioned in advertisement.
E) Ensure that the form duly filled in along with necessary documents is submitted on or before 23/05/2013.
RECRUITMENT Process:
Document Verification >> Physical Measurement Test (PMT) >> Physical Efficiency Test (PET) >> Written test >> Interview
The candidates who qualify in PMT and PET will be asked to appear in a written examination and a limited number of candidates who appear in the written examination will be called for interview.
