The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 28.07.2013 (Sunday). Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET-JULY 2013 on CBSE/CTET website till April 22 2013.

7 days grace time i.e. up to 06.05.2013 for receipt of Confirmation Page will be allowed to the candidates belonging to remote areas viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep and Foreign country.

CTET ONLINE REGISTRATION DATE EXTENDED

Earlier the last date for online regsiteration was announced as April 16, 2013, now it is extended to April 22, 2013

In accordance with NCTE letter No. F.76-1/2011/NCTE/Acad, dated 9th April, 2013, regarding extension of time duration to complete TET from 1.30 hours to 2.30 hours, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has issued Public Notice of the following revised schedule for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination:


Date of Examination : July 28, 2013 (28.07.2013 )

Paper- I
Exam time: 09.30 to 12.00 hours (2.30 hours)

Paper- II
Exam time:14.00 to 16.30 hours (2.30 hours)


Last date for submitting On-line Application: 22.04.2013 (April 22, 2013)

Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in the CBSE Office: 29.04.2013 (April 29, 2013)

Read the instructions carefully before applying online. After submitting Your details You have to pay the application fee ( Fee for both papers Rs 800 and for single paper it is Rs 500). 

After successful payment t ake the printout of Confirmation Page. Paste your recent photograph and sign in the specified boxes. Send the Confirmation Page and CBSE Copy of eChallan, if fees paid through challan, through Speed/Registered Post only to :

The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.

Validity: The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

Instructions and Procedure for Online Application Form CTET - 2013


1. Please read the instructions and procedures carefully before you start filling the Online Application  Form.


ELIGIBILITY FOR CTET

 Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V :

    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
    * OR
    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    * OR
    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    * OR
    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
    * OR
    * Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).


Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII:

    * Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    * OR
    * Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    * OR
    * Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    * OR
    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    * OR
    * Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    * OR
    * Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

2. Candidates can apply for CTET-JULY 2013 ‘ON-LINE’ through CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 15.03.2013 to 22.04.2013.
For ‘ON-LINE’ SUBMISSION - www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in
Candidates can apply ‘ON-LINE’ at Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data. The Confirmation page is sent to CBSE.
3. Examination Fees
Category Only Paper – I or II Both Paper – I & II
General / OBC Category Rs. 500 /- (Five hundered) Rs. 800 /- (Eight hundered)
SC / ST / Differently Abled Category Rs. 250 /- (Two hundered Fifty) Rs. 400 /- (Four hundered)
The fee can be remitted in the following ways:

• Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

• By Debit/Credit Card.
4. Please ensure before dispatching the Confirmation Page that:-
(i) The candidate has signed the Confirmation Page at the specified place.
(ii) The candidate has pasted the recent passport size photograph on the space earmarked for it.
(iii) The candidate has attached CBSE copy of Challan of the prescribed fee.
(iv) The candidate has kept a photocopy of the Confirmation Page for use as reference for future correspondence.
The Confirmation Page must be dispatched in an Envelope of size 12”x9” only and paste the computer generated address slip on the envelope superscribing “APPLICATION FOR CTET- JULY 2013”.
5. The Confirmation Page, complete in all respect,along with CBSE copy of Challan if fees paid through Challan, should be sent through Registered/Speed Post only so as to reach positively by 22.04.2013 in the CBSE office addressed to;

HOW TO DOWNLOAD CTET JULY 2013 CONFIRMATION PAGE

CTET registration has two parts, Part 1 to enter you details and Part II to pay fee (Offline or online) and downloading the confirmation page.

Fee payment Options:
• Through Challan (Offline Mode) : by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

• By Debit/Credit Card. (Online mode)

Part II of CTET July 2013 regsitration

Do the steps as follows:

go to page http://ctet.nic.in/ctetjuly2013/Online/RegCand.aspx
OR visit ctet.nic.in and Click on "Apply Online for CTET-JU 2013" button.

in the section "Registered Candidate for Fee payment & Confirmation Page"

Enter Your register Number, Date of birth and the Security pin (enter the number given as image under the text area to enter Security pin ).[[note: you must have received your register number on your mobile number]]

Enter Submit button.

In the result page you will get option to Download your Already Online application form details as a PDF file (other wise known as confirmation page).

Decide the mode of payment of fee,
$$ Through Debit/Credit Card using on-line gateway payment facility, or
$$ Depositing in CBSE Bank Account with Syndicate Bank or Depositing in CBSE
Account with Post Office directly by downloading the Challan Form from the
website of cbse.nic.in or ctet.nic.in

If decided to pay fee off-line mode, choose the Bank or e-Post Office for depositing the Fee through Challan/Deposit Slip downloaded from website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in after completing Part-I of Registration.

After Depositing Fee in the Bank/e-Post Office, the Deposit Slip bearing Application Registration Number, Name and Address of the Bank Branch with Branch Code/Post Office with Pin Code where fee is deposited and transaction ID number be kept ready with you while logging on to website for final submission of Part-II of the Application
Form

if decided to pay fees online, proceed with Online payment option using Debit/Credit card.
After Depositing Fee online successfully, You will find the online transaction details at the bottom of the confirmation page.

DOwnload the Confirmation page

there will also another PDF file to download, this is the address slip .

Use a Cover 12"X9" (almost size of A4 sized paper), Just paste the address slip on the cover, put the confirmation page inside after putting Your signature and affixing your photograph in appropriate areas.
if fee payment is through Challan, add CBSE copy of Challan of the prescribed fee.

Send the Application to CBSE as SPEED POST or REGISTERED POST so as to reach CBSE Delhi Office on or before April 29, 2013.

Remember to keep a copy of confirmation page for your future reference.
