RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR GP ‘X’ (TECHNICAL) & GP 'Y' TRADES AT BADHARGHAT, AGARTALA (TRIPURA) ON JULY 12, 2012
Recruitment rally is open for unmarried male candidates of State of Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram
SELECTION Process. The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

Reporting Time : 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM .

Venue: The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades and Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police) & Musician} trades will be held at Tripura Sports School Badharghat, Agartala (Tripura) from 26 July 2012 to 02 August 2012
Age : Candidates should be born between 01 July 1991 to 30 September 1995 (both days inclusive).
Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

PAY & ALLOWANCES. During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance (DA), for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be Rs. 20,542/-per month (approximately) [Pay in Pay Band – (Rs. 7,050/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 2,000/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – Rs. 2,000/- + X Group Pay – (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA @ 65% - Rs. 8,092/-)] and for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades will be Rs. 16,912/-per month (approximately) [(Pay in Pay Band – (Rs. 6,250/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 2,000/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – (Rs. 2,000/-) + DA @ 65% - (Rs. 6,662/-)], which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 36,250/-per month (approximately) [(Pay in Pay Band – (Rs. 13,770/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 4,800/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – (Rs. 2,000/-) + X Group Pay – (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA @ 65% - (Rs. 14,280/-)] for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades and Rs. 31,944/-per month [(Pay in Pay Band – (Rs. 12,560/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 4,800/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – (Rs. 2,000/-) + DA @ 65% - (Rs. 12,584/-)] for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades as per sixth pay commission depending upon the rank attained. Other allowances such as Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Fly/PJI allowance, Family planning allowance, HRA etc are also admissible to airmen.
Educational Qualification -
Group ‘X’ (Technical)
(a) For Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades. Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical)
(b) For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
OR
Three year Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.
DOMICILE REQUIREMENT.
To be eligible to appear in the rally at Tripura Sports School Badharghat, Agartala (Tripura) the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized Board of the State of Tripura or Nagaland or Arunachal Pradesh or Assam or Meghalaya or Mizoram OR should fulfill the domicile requirements (Domicile Certificate issued by SDM/DM/Executive Magistrate or any other official authorised by the State Government of Northern Eastern region only will be accepted). If in Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination passing certificate, name of the district is not mentioned, candidate has to bring the original Domicile Certificate in which the District name is mentioned.
