IBPS conducting common written exam for recruiting Officers (Scale -I/II/III) and Office Assistants for 82 Regional Rural banks (RRBs) / Gramin Banks in India - Last date: June 25, 2012

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification of conducting a common written exam (CWE) on September 2012 for recruiting Officers (Scale -I/II/III) and Office Assistants for 82 Regional Rural banks (RRBs) / Gramin Banks in India. Currently there are 82 RRBs or Gramin Banks in our country that will now recruit through a common written exam conducted by IBPS.

Last date of online registration: June 25, 2012

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. For applying , knowledge of Local Language is a must .

Online application registration: June 1 - 25, 2012,
Online Fee Payment - : June 1 - 25, 2012,
Offline Fee Payment - : June 4 - 30 , 2012,
Written Exam Date (Officers) - : September - 2, 2012,
Written Exam Date (Office Assistants) - : September - 9 , 2012,


Vacancies details:

Officers (Scale-III) .

Age : Below 40 years
Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks.
Expereince : Min Five years of Experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution..

Officers (Scale-II) .

There are various posts under this category such as General Banking officers and Specialist Officers.
Age : 21 - 32 Years
Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks.
Experience (1 - 2 Years) is required for each post so we suggest you to go through advertisement for more details about posts in this category.

Officers (Scale-I) .

Qualification: Degree in any discipline,
Age : 18 - 28 Years
Proficiency in Local Language of state in which RRB is Located.

Office Assistants

Age : 18 - 28 Years
Qualification: Degree in any discipline,
Proficiency in Local Language of State in which RRB is Located.

Test Pattern : The written test will be of objective type and of total of 200 Marks. Total questions will be 200 and a total time of 150 mins will be allotted for these questions. There is Negative Marking for wrong answers of .25 of the total marks for the question.Candidates after passing the exam will be eligible for RRBs in states under the category they have applied for (A/B Or C).


Application fee
The Application Fee is as Below :-

For Officers (Scale I, II & III) -
- Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs.450/- for all others

For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) -

- Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
- Rs.350/- for all others


HOW TO APPLY ONLINE

Go to Online Application Link on IBPS Site and fill your details and choose option of Payment as Online Mode. After submitting the details you'll be directed to payment page.
The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated whose print out have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written examination.

HOW TO APPLY OFFLINE

Go to Online Application Link on IBPS Site and fill your details and choose option of Payment as Offline (CBS) Mode. After submitting the details a Registration Number and Password will be generated. A Payment challan will also be generated.
After Two Days, pay the fee at any branch of any of Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Central bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank & United Bank of India.
After confirmation of payment, you'll receive an Email/SMS regarding the confirmation of your application.
After three days of payment, you'll be able to print your application.
